I have to agree with using $400 for shirts a little to extreme!! Although. It would be nice to be able to have a shirt before the semester ends. Crystal mentioned about ordering shirts from where the bottles were purchased, we were thinking a black shirt with the same logo as the bottles would be short and sweet. The money we have raised should help next semester as well, at this point we don't have members willing to take a position, it is hard enough to get members to go to meetings. We should hold on and see if anyone decides to run and then decide about how to go with the money we have raised. We also have money through ASI just sitting there maybe that can be used for the shirts.

Yes.

 You all have executed an excellent fundraiser in record time.  I'm proud of you too!

Yes, we should have a club get together.  In the recent past we've done the bowling alley, but before that we've gone to the pub on campus, to local parks, to Fresno restaurants and once we even rented out a small hall.

  Everyone should be brainstorming about what kind of party would be best.

We should be careful to only spend funds from this fundraising campaign on hygiene materials for this campaign.  Any funds remaining after the purchase of the hygiene materials should be deposited in the club account, and new forms completed for any other purchases, such as bottles, T-shirts and party materials.  It seems the consensus so far is to not have the club purchase t-shirts.  That's OK with me.

I think its a great idea to have the current officers writeup something for future officers.

I've made everyone a member, to facilitate easy posting.  Something like this will serve the function of the usb drive, but will be much more accessible as the officers change hands, there will be a place where any of them can find the information at any time.   I would appreciate any advice anyone would like to leave for future officers, or any other things, to be sent to the page.  It is a private page, not accessible in lists of blogger users or search engines, so its just a place for internal communication.   You can send messages several ways.  The easiest, I think, is sending messages to the blog via email --  tkubal2.2009.sociology@blogspot.com.
